We created a Behavioral Health program because we recognize that everyone goes through challenges in life. We believe that people grow and adapt to life changes most effectively when they have appropriate support. In terms of responding to mental health challenges or recovery from addictive behaviors, we feel that everyone deserves access to quality counseling regardless of their financial or insurance situation.
We strive to support and assist all our clients with dignity and respect as they learn new skills. We focus on building on clients’ strengths and resources so that they become self-sufficient and actualize their life goals. Our treatment approach is client-centered with emphasis on developing clients’ internal resources and external support systems.
Our Behavioral Health program offers state-certified outpatient mental health counseling, alcohol and drug treatment, and a Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants (DUII) diversion program. Our services are focused on adult men and women who are experiencing financial difficulties, those who are uninsured, or those who are under-insured. In addition to billing insurance, we offer a reasonable sliding fee scale. No one will be turned away due to an inability to pay.
Accessing our services requires:
- Clients must be 18 years or older.
- Clients complete a request form by telephone or in person in order to start the intake process.
- Each client is assigned to a counselor who will help you explore goals and objectives and establish a customized service plan which may include groups and/or individual sessions.
- Clients interested in drug and alcohol treatment services must be clean and sober for a minimum of five days.
