Domestic Abuse Intervention Programs for men and women meet
the standards for local court, parole, and probation diversion programs
The Community Outreach Domestic Abuse Intervention offers
ongoing programs for men and women. Each Domestic Abuse Intervention
Program series begins with a required orientation meeting, followed by
weekly class sessions. Participants can start classes within two to three
weeks of their orientation session.
Each Domestic Abuse Intervention Program is taught by a team
of two professional counselors—a man and a woman—with years of experience
in teaching behavioral change. All instructors adhere to the ethical
guidelines of the National Board of Certified Counselors and Oregon
Licensed Professional Counselors.
Fees for the Domestic Abuse Intervention Program will be set
at the intake session, on a sliding scale, on a case-by-case basis. Every
effort will be made to accommodate clients, but everyone is expected to
pay for their workshop.
